A captain ordering app that sends every order straight to the kitchen
Your captains open the table, build the order with search, voice and favourites, tag the kitchen notes and tap Send to KOT — and the ticket lands on the kitchen display straight away.

A captain ordering app puts the order pad, the menu and the KOT book on one screen. In KhaanaPina that screen is the Orders Portal: captains and waiters see the floor by section, tap a table and start taking the order — no walking back to a billing counter to punch it in.
The things a captain repeats all night are a tap away: favourite items, short codes, and quick kitchen-note tags like No onion or Less oil. When the order is ready, Send to KOT pushes a digital ticket to the kitchen display.
What changes for your captains
Fewer taps, fewer mistakes
Voice search, short codes and favourites cut the taps for common dishes, and quick kitchen-note tags replace handwritten notes the kitchen has to decipher.
Kitchen notes and service notes kept apart
A Kitchen Note travels with the KOT; a Service Note — a birthday, an anniversary, a VIP guest — stays internal. The kitchen sees what it needs to cook, the floor sees what it needs to serve.
Work spread across the floor
When you assign a captain and a waiter, staff are sorted by matching section and show their current table load, so a new table goes to whoever has room rather than whoever is nearest.
Captain Ordering App: what's included
Order taking in the Orders Portal, built around how captains and waiters work a floor.
How a captain takes an order
Pick the table
Open the floor view and tap the table — an occupied table opens straight into its order, with a live timer from when the table opened.
Build the order
Search, speak or tap favourites to add dishes, pick modifiers, add kitchen-note tags and capture customer details. Repeat customers are recognised by mobile number.
Send to KOT
One tap sends a digital ticket to the kitchen display. Save the order to come back to it, and move to Bill & Pay when the table is done.
